Buying my 2nd 6.0 soon … looking forward to building it to a reliable tow rig for the camper every once in a while. Already got the build list, mechanic and quote. It’s a pretty penny but it’s worth it to me. Drove the new stuff and it’s not the same. Ready to get back into a nice 6.0. Waiting on the right rig as of now essentially. Those mid-size fords are solid and fairly easy to work on. My buddy had a 03' 4x4 5.4 crew cab. They are surprising a lot heavier than they look. If his Samoan Girl was with him, Truck prob weighed as much as my 03' Super duty powerstroke while holding nothing but her iPhone Lol You think your big, She makes you and me look like were hooked on meth and dying from full blown AIDs lol

Hi Scott, I tried to remove the lens cover with your method of inserting a small screwdriver into the rear keyway of the rear map-light housing with no luck and felt like I was going to pull the whole unit right out of the headliner. I grabbed the front facing edge and gave it a light pull and the lens cover popped right off (easy). Looking at the rear keyway area once I had the lens off shows there is no tab to push through the rear keyway to pop the lens off. The LED bulbs I did put in did flicker and realized the terminals the bulb pops into needed to be squeezed together and then the LED bulb stayed nice and snug and no flicker.
